I get this message when running SYSLINUX.EXE -ma J: “Accessing Physical Drive. Access is denied. did nits successfully update the MBR..continuing.

I correctly changed my drive letter. So what do I do now?

If you come across issue where you got to select the hard disk.

Then make sure to change your hard disk’s mode to either :
AHCI from IDE

having a problem with step 5. I find the removable disk, USB, and hit enter like it says, but nothing happens, nothing pops up after a few seconds, minutes, hours… knowing me, I probably did something wrong, but I don’t know what.

hye me form malaysia..me no understand at this>>[enter the drive letter of your memory stick (e.g. L: ), then enter “SYSLINUX.EXE -ma L:” (replace L: with your drive letter). This will set the boot record for your memory stick, enabling your computer to use it as boot device].<<

Hi! You have to run the EXE file from the directory… of course it’s not a Windows shell command. Navigate to the directory of your USB stick and then execute it, just as shown on the screenshots.

Hey what is that command SYSLINUX.EXE -ma L???
There is no such command in cmd.exe….
So how to make the BIOS boot from my USB Memory Stick??
